Seasonal
The menu follows what is actually growing. It changes through the year and nobody writes it down a month ahead.
Odia Dhaba
Food is what a stay is remembered by. The dhaba on campus cooks Odia food the way home cooks it — seasonal, local, mostly vegetarian, and made fresh for each meal rather than held under a lamp.
How we cook
The menu follows what is actually growing. It changes through the year and nobody writes it down a month ahead.
Odia dishes, bought close by. This is the food of the region rather than a hotel's idea of it.
The everyday table is vegetarian. Tell us what you eat when you enquire and we will plan around it.
Each meal is made for that meal. It is why the dhaba serves at set times rather than all day.
Meal times
The campus eats together. Timings shift a little with the season and with retreat schedules — the front desk will confirm them when you arrive.
| Meal | Time | Usually |
|---|---|---|
| Breakfast | 08:00 | After yoga, once people are back from the trail |
| Lunch | 13:00 | The main meal of the day, followed by rest |
| Dinner | 20:00 | Early and light, so guests sleep well |
Retreat guests follow a diet planned with the doctor, cooked in the same kitchen and served at the same times.
The retreat kitchen
On a retreat week the kitchen cooks to the plan the physician sets after your assessment — portions, timing and ingredients included. It is the part of the week most guests say changed how they eat at home, because it never feels like a punishment.
Set with the doctor after your intake assessment.
Served to the plan rather than to the buffet.
Meals sit around therapy sessions, not the other way round.
What worked goes into the plan you take home.
Tell us in advance
A small kitchen can accommodate almost anything with notice and very little on the day. Put it in your enquiry and it reaches the kitchen before you do.

Come hungry
No separate food bill, no ordering in. Tell us your dates and what you eat.
